Randy E King, CEO/Author, visited the school on Monday to address the middle and high school students. King, who recently wrote “Left-Center-Right: What is Best for America?”, spoke about his interest in education, noting that today’s students are the future of our country.
Mr. King also discussed a potential book project he is considering that would feature essays from MALC students on the topic of hardships they have overcome in life. Dr. Vickie Christensen, our superintendent, was also on hand to encourage the students to participate in the school’s essay contest that will provide material for the book. She announced cash prizes for winning entries and noted that any students published in the book would remain anonymous.
King showed a short video of a recent interview about his book before encouraging the students to strive for success in life.
