The perks of living in a rich suburb
Living in a rich suburb in America has its perks. The average annual income in these areas is significantly higher than in other parts of the country. In addition, residents of these communities have access to better schools, amenities, and job opportunities. If you are lucky enough to live in one of the richest suburbs in America, make sure you take advantage of all that your community has to offer.
What do these affluent places have in common?
For one, they’re all located in close proximity to major metropolitan areas. Atherton, for example, is just a short drive from Silicon Valley, while Scarsdale is a stone’s throw from New York City.
This proximity allows residents to enjoy all the benefits of living in a big city while still being able to get away from the hustle and bustle.
Additionally, all of these towns have strong public school systems, as well as access to top-notch health care and recreational opportunities. And although many of them don’t have large populations, they’re often still home to big names in politics, business, and entertainment.
If you live in one of these communities, chances are you are doing quite well financially. However, it is important to remember that there is more to life than money. Be sure to enjoy your wealth and use it to better yourself and those around you.
