Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 44 is hosting a fundraiser pancake breakfast to raise money for the scout members to attend a Leadership Training Summer Camp in July.

Author Randy E King embarks on a new book project. This time it is to tell the stories of our veterans who have faced physical and emotional hardships. He wants to help heal those who protect our country by letting them tell their own personal stories of pain and promise.

On September 15, 2011, Hillsdale College, located in Hillsdale, Michigan, will hold its 2nd annual Constitution Day Celebration featuring US Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer, members of the Hillsdale College faculty, and other distinguished guests.

Featuring 75 rare and important artifacts from Ben Franklin’s life, this exhibition is an interactive visitor experience for all ages. The exhibition presents the stories of Benjamin Franklin’s life through his personal belongings used during his early years in Boston as a rebellious teenager, during his life as a printer and during his years of service to the American colonies and the newly formed United States of America. A scientist, inventor, diplomat, humorist, philanthropist and entrepreneur, Benjamin Franklin’s dynamic personality comes to life through hands-on and interactive activities and animations geared toward a school-aged audience.
